| Having completed over 50 ceramic wall commissions Frank brings a world of experience to his clay work. A one year project launched Frank's career in murals, this commission was for Sears in Escondido CA, seven 20' x 30' historic bas-relief murals. Libraries, banks, office buildings, and private residences followed. |

Frank Matranga has been inducted into "Marquis Who's Who in American Art" for 2005. This master potter has received many awards for his work. Among them "Young Americans" in New York, "Century 21" at Seattle Worlds Fair, "Ceramic National" in New York. As an artist in residence in Japan in the late 70's he had several "One Man Show" in Tokyo and Yokohama and was interviewed on Japanese television. Frank is always exploring new ideas and techniques in clay, it's a way of life for him. |
